Incest Starts from Seeing, Touching and Feeling

A father asked his daughter to sweep the compound, he came out to see what she has done, the daughter was putting on revealing clothes, and the father was practically having erection, he needed to quickly rushed back into the room.

Another father was arrested for sleeping with his own daughter. He narrated that he has divorced his wife, and he’s so close to the daughter. Sexual behaviour between two siblings of equal power starts like ‘play’, where looking, touching, hugging, kissing and exploring are mutual decisions, eventually, they get connected sexually. Many female children are involved in the act from their direct male family members, and sexual behaviour with their brothers was abusive.

There are situations where female close related members will lure male children into the bedroom or bathroom for soft touches or sexual exploits. This act can also be diabolical especially in African societies, there are family members who get involved in sexual relationships with their blood for ritual purposes.

Incestual relationship is a forbidden deed in the Deen, and almost in all cultures, a person who engages in incest is called an incestophile. There are many factors contributing to blood related members getting attracted to one another. However, incest is almost universally condemned and viewed as a terrible act.

The problems most often encountered are sexual dysfunctions and difficulty with sexual contact. Irrespective of the age, the exposure to nudity is a cause, the societal influence has made a lot of people to be sexually active, hence the next available person will be an experiment.

Apart from delinquency, anxiety, misinformation, lack of parental presence, the increase is also associated with behaviours like sexualized play with dolls, putting objects into anuses or vaginas, excessive or public masturbation, pornography, seductive behaviour, and age-inappropriate sexual knowledge and behaviour. Things are really happening in many homes.

Parents need to be conscious, you do not allow your children to have access to your bedroom activities, it is not right bathing naked before your kids, indirectly, many parents are exposing their sons and daughters to danger.

We must insist in marrying a decent partner, an intending partner that has demonstrated an immoral act will be a red flag or something to avoid. Some adults have not been properly groomed, so they tend to misbehave with time.

We need to get it right from inception, our parents have a lot of work to do, controlling what the children hear and see is very important. Only digital parents should train digital children for successful outcomes. The problem of analogue parents training digital children is an issue.

When your children are growing, pray for them, separate their beds, watch them closely, check their phones, monitor their progress in Madrasah and school, be concern with the friends they choose, be conscious of the programs they watch or books they read, and above all, you need a morally inclined person as a husband or wife to achieve all these.
